Who we are

Torq Agency provides hosted automation for Australian small businesses. For privacy matters contact hello@torqagency.com.au.

What we collect

Depending on how you contact us, we may collect:

  • Website lead forms — name, business name, phone, and optional email when you submit a form on our landing pages.
  • Meta (Facebook / Instagram) Instant Forms — the fields you submit in-app (typically name, phone, email, and any custom questions we configure). Meta shares this with us as the advertiser.
  • Service operation — call and SMS metadata needed to run missed-call text-back and review-request automations (e.g. phone numbers, timestamps, message delivery status).
  • Analytics — Meta Pixel and standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, referrer). We use these to measure ad performance and keep the site secure.

How we use information

  • Respond to enquiries and onboard paying customers.
  • Run automations you have signed up for (SMS, reminders, review requests).
  • Improve our website and measure advertising (including Meta ads).
  • Meet legal obligations and prevent abuse.

Meta Pixel and ads

We use the Meta Pixel on this website. It may set cookies and send event data (such as PageView and Lead) to Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd and its affiliates. Meta’s own policies apply to how they use that data. You can control ad preferences in your Facebook / Instagram settings.

Who we share with

  • Infrastructure providers — hosting (e.g. Cloudflare), API hosting (e.g. Render), and telecommunications (Twilio) only as needed to deliver the service.
  • Meta — when you use Instant Forms or when Pixel / Conversions API events are sent for measurement.
  • We do not sell your personal information.

Retention and logs

Lead records and SMS logs are kept for as long as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, and comply with law — typically while you are a customer and for a reasonable period after. Server and audit logs may be retained for security and troubleshooting.

Your rights

Under Australian privacy law you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. To request deletion or a copy of your data, email hello@torqagency.com.au from the address or phone number you used with us. We will verify your request and respond within a reasonable time.

Security

We use HTTPS, access controls, and provider security features. No online system is perfectly secure; please use a current browser and protect your devices.

Changes

We may update this policy. The “last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
